Today we launched the first iteration of the Greenbrier Baptist Church website.

Goal
The goal of this site was to create a simple brochure web site while providing a foundation to add features and content. In the future, our client plans to add a Blog, Membership Directory, and Podcasts of sermons and services. The initial launch contains important information including location, worship times, and directions.
Structure - Drupal 6
The core foundation of the website is using Drupal 6 - An open source content management platform. By taking advantage of the flexibility and structure of Drupal, and installing a freely available theme, Green-N-Black, we are able to minimize design costs for our client. The Drupal installation is using the Acquia Distribution along with the following additional modules:

Flexibility and Functionality
By developing the site using a Content Management Framework such as Drupal, we are able to provide staff and members the ability to easily edit and update content. We chose to keep the features simple for the initial launch. Future plans include iterative changes to increase the functionality and usability of the site.
